CEFS Meals on Wheels, offered by the C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation in rural Illinois, delivers hot meals and companionship to home-bound adults aged 60 and older across Christian, Clay, Effingham, Fayette, and Montgomery counties. The program provides home-delivered meals with a vital daily wellness check and congregate meal sites that reduce isolation and build community. Meals are offered on a suggested-donation basis, and no one is turned away for inability to pay. To support this mission, funds are currently being raised by Windy City Cannabis at their Litchfield location, helping keep seniors healthier, independent, and socially connected.

The D300 Food Pantry is a volunteer-driven nonprofit serving families in Community Unit School District 300, the sixth largest in Illinois. Founded in 2016, it operates inside Carpentersville Middle School to provide weekly groceries, fresh produce, meat, dairy, and household essentials to registered families. Run entirely by volunteers, 98% of donations go directly toward food assistance. Beyond distribution, the pantry also organizes school supply drives and holiday events to support the community. To help sustain its mission, funds are currently being raised by Windy City Cannabis at their Carpentersville location, ensuring D300 families have reliable access to food.

Orphans of the Storm is a no-kill animal shelter in Deerfield, Illinois, dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats. The organization provides medical care, shelter, and love to homeless pets while matching them with loving families.
2024 Achievements & Highlights:
1,000+ Adoptions – Successfully placed over 1,000 pets into forever homes this year.
Expanded Medical Care – Launched a new fund for critical veterinary treatments, helping pets with severe illnesses or injuries.
Community Outreach Growth – Hosted record-breaking adoption events and partnered with local businesses for fundraising.
